End-to-End Business Processes with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (IEE2E)

This course focuses on the topic of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). For the practical implementation of the content, the newest solution of the world market leader in the field of business software –  SAP S/4HANA Cloud – is used.

SAP S/4HANA is currently the most commonly used standard operating software worldwide. This course aims to prepare students for current and future challenges in dealing with this complex subject area. The SAP S/4HANA enterprise software provides a comprehensive insight into the theoretical foundations of Enterprise Resource Planning and shows the decisive innovations in the SAP S/4HANA system.

Using case studies on integrated business processes, which the students actively carry out in an SAP S/4HANA system, the theoretical knowledge is then practically implemented and deepened. The theoretical basis and the case studies cover practically the entire range of core areas (SAP S/4HANA Digital Core) of the S/4HANA systems. As a result, participants in this course will gain a comprehensive overview of the functional areas of the S/4HANA system: Logistics (LO), Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO) and Human Capital Management (HCM).

For accessing the SAP system, SAP‘s next-generation user interface FIORI UX is used. Students will become acquainted with the new architecture, design and mode of operation of this innovative UI. In addition, integration points to SAP Customer Experience (CRM), SAP Ariba (Procurement), SAP Integrated Business Planning (Planning), and SAP Success Factors (HR) are presented.  

Learning Targets

After completion of the course, the students will have a comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA system based on practical experience and extensive explanations of the individual S/4HANA functional modules. This refers in particular to technical aspects, the organizational structure and the integration of a large number of business processes and functional areas.

The practical work on the business process scenarios presented in the integrated case studies enables the course participants to understand the function of SAP S/4HANA fundamentally. This gives the participants the skills to familiarize themselves quickly with any unknown SAP S/4HANA systems later in their career.
