After completing the course, you will have in-depth, theoretical knowledge of the SAC system, its technical aspects, the structure of the underlying data model, and the procedure for creating analytical applications and planning applications.
After completing the course, you will be able to orientate yourself in an SAC system. In particular, you have knowledge and skills in the following functional areas:
-
Administration and collaboration in SAC
- Data modeling in SAC
- Use of SAC applications (Stories, Analytics Designer, SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office, Digital Boardroom) for data analysis
- Use of SAC applications (versioning, data tables, bulk data modification, data actions, what-if analysis, value driver trees, allocations, forecasts and smart predict, planning processes) for planning and forecasting
- Data validation
- Data locks
- Integration with SAP source systems (SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BPC)
- Integration with non-SAP sources
- File interface
As a course participant, you will learn how to handle the different components of the SAC system and how to integrate them within complex modeling, analysis, and planning scenarios by first acquiring the theoretical basics and then intensively working on case studies based on integrated scenarios. This enables you to understand how the SAC system works on a fundamental level in such a way that you can quickly familiarize yourself with the specific environment of an foreign SAC system.
